Be the shade Earth needs - action today for a thriving tomorrow.

Parnankur Social Foundation plants native trees, stays on to care for them, and teaches climate literacy in classrooms, campuses, workplaces and neighbourhoods. Practical environmental action, running since 5 June 2020.

Every tree we plant is geo-tagged and maintained for three years.

Why Nature Matters

Six things a forest does that no human engineering replaces.

Trees are usually described as decoration. They are infrastructure - for air, water, soil, temperature, biodiversity, and human health. We protect nature because we need nature.

Misty rainforest exhaling morning haze
Clear forest stream over mossy stones
Soil cross-section with roots and organic matter
Vast green canopy extending to horizon

Where we are

Mission 2026: one lakh native trees, planted and kept alive.

The count below only includes trees that are still standing and still under our care. Saplings lost in the first year are replaced before they are counted again.

“Our barren society periphery is now a dense Miyawaki forest running 4°C cooler in summer. The transformation has brought the whole community together.”
